DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) Policy
Last Updated: April 21, 2025
Welcome to SubwaySurfers. We respect intellectual property rights and actively address any concerns about copyright infringement in line with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) of 1998. This policy explains how we respond to such claims and what you can expect when reporting or disputing them.
What Is Copyright Infringement?
Copyright infringement happens when someone uses protected content—like images, videos, software, or written material—without the owner’s permission. At SubwaySurfer.org, we are serious about protecting original content. If notified of any unauthorized use, we act swiftly to remove or restrict the offending material.
Submitting a Digital Copyright Policy Takedown Request
If you believe someone violated your copyright on our site, you (or your legal representative) may submit a takedown notice. Your request must include:
- A physical or digital signature of the copyright owner or an authorized agent.
- Please provide a detailed description of the original content and explain how a third party used it without your authorization.
Please specify the direct link (URL) where the content you’re reporting is located. - Please provide your complete contact information, including your name, mailing address, telephone number, and a valid email.
- Include a good faith statement confirming that neither you, your agent, nor the law authorized the use of your work.
- Declare, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you have the authority to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Send your request to:Email: subwaysurfer804@gmail.com
We’ll acknowledge your request promptly and begin our review process.
After We Receive Your Notice
Once we receive a valid takedown request:
- We may take down the content in question or restrict access to it.
- We will inform the user who posted the content, if applicable.
- Depending on the situation, we may take further action, including issuing account warnings or suspending the account.
Submitting a Counter-Notice
- If you believe we removed your content in error, you may file a counter-notification to challenge the claim. Your notice should contain:
Your physical or digital signature. - Give clear details about the content we removed and specify where you originally posted it.
- Add a sworn statement confirming that you genuinely believe we removed the content in error. Your complete contact information, such as your full name, mailing address, and a valid email address.
- A statement of consent to the jurisdiction of the nearest federal court, and agreement to accept legal process from the original complainant.
Submit your counter-notice to:Email: subwaysurfer804@gmail.com
If we receive a valid counter-notice, and the complainant does not initiate legal action within 10 business days, we may restore the content.
Repeat Violations
Users who repeatedly upload infringing content may face restrictions or permanent account suspension. We track repeat violations to help maintain a responsible and legal environment on our site.
Disclaimer: Not Legal Advice
This policy provides information only and does not serve as legal advice. If you’re unsure about whether content qualifies as fair use or infringes on copyright, please consult with a legal professional before filing a Digital Copyright Policy notice or counter-notice.
